In conjunction with the St. Joseph County Library, Arkos Design developed a valuable resource for the benefit of the community.  The new lab, known as “Studio 304,” provides patrons with access to equipment for creating unique, personal digital media.

What can you do in Studio 304?
 • Convert records and cassettes to MP3 and CDs.
 • Burn DVDs from VHS tapes.
 • Scan and edit photos.
 • 3D-print personalized items.
 • Record and edit music.
 • Record and edit podcasts in sound-controlled private rooms.
 • Create, edit, and share videos.
 • Create digital media for business and personal use.
 • Usage is free to card-holders, with nominal fees for printing and storage devices.

The space was designed with the needs of the end user as the priority.  Arkos Design combined functionality with an industrial aesthetic appeal to encourage exploration and provide a successful program space for the library.
